Our annual implementers conference is a chance to share experiences, demo solutions, and dive into the questions and challenges facing OpenMRS developers and implementers worldwide.
We are community-driven. Our conferences follow a semi-unconferencing format, which features guest speakers while letting conference attendees determine and lead the breakout sessions, showcases, lightning talks, and demos.
The conference’s objectives, centred on the theme of Leveraging Open innovation to accelerate UHC(Universal Health Coverage).
The conference aims to achieve the following:
Leveraging OpenMRS to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care at scale.
Implementing OpenMRS solutions that adhere to standards for interoperability.
This year’s conference is broken down as follows:
Registration is ongoing and closes on 31 July 2023. The registration rates are as follows: Early bird $370 Regular registration $420 Late Registration $ 450
Sponsorships are important to the event, as it helps to ensure the conference is cost neutral and provides scholarship opportunities for members who would not be able to attend this annual event without this support.
The conference will be structured in a semi-unconference format. It comprises several pre-determined sessions/events, followed by open slots for the audience to propose sessions of their choice.
Jomo Kenyatta International Airport services direct connections from a number of international destinations including major air hubs in Africa, Europe and UAE. We will offer airport transfers to all registered participants to the recommended hotels.
