OpenMRS 1.3.0 Release Candidate 1 has been released. This release adds a number of new features and a few bug fixes. See the the release notes for more information. Before this is turned into an official release there will be some changes and clean up to the underlying API. It can be downloaded from http://download.openmrs.org.
Several OpenMRS developers will be attending the MySQL Conference & Expo in Santa Clara from April 14-17, 2008. Ben and Justin will be manning an OpenMRS booth at the DotOrg Pavilion of the exhibition hall. OpenMRS 1.2.01 has been released. This version includes the ability to create a person from the relationship selection interface, grouping of observations within hierarchies, improved error output, enhance logging control within modules, and many other bug fixes. We would like to thank all of the students who applied to OpenMRS for Google Summer of Code 2008. We got a terrific response with many excellent applications. OpenMRS is proud to have been accepted again this year as mentoring organization for the Google Summer of Code 2008! The timeline for applications is very short, so students should be looking at our Summer of Code 2008 page and visiting our IRC channel if they have questions before their applications are due (31-March). We’re
