I’m glad to announce that OpenMRS 1.9.0 RC (Release Candidate) is now available! You can download it here
OpenMRS 1.9.0 RC has a number of bugs fixed in the past couple of weeks in the core application and some bundled modules. See the release notes for the complete list of bug fixes.
Please help the community by taking a few minutes to test the best features that you currently use and the new features you cannot wait to use. The Release Testing Helper Module can always help you test this RC using your existing data. Read more about it from: Release Testing Helper Module, and download it from here. Then, should you happen to find any bugs, please report them in our ticket tracking system, JIRA.
Assuming no bugs, this should become the official release in a few weeks.

Can we release a 1.9 RC2 soon, now that there have been some fixes committed to 1.9RC??
