Google Summer of Code 2009

OpenMRS sync feature allows different OpenMRS installations to, simply, share their data. This works in a child<-->parent tree hierarchy. After 2008, the OpenMRS Sync was missing a big feature which is semi-automatic child node creation by cloning and replicating the parent server's database. This helps to propagate the sync hierarchy quickly, without serious errors and also to recover any child database.

I achieved the main goals of this project and many thanks to all my mentors( Maros and Ben) for their help. Please read Data_Synchronization_Admin_UI_Project to get more details about the project.

About Me

I am student in Computer Science at Kigali Institute of Science and Technology - KIST(Rwanda).

I knew OpenMRS since 2007 and I've been involved in 2008 & 2009 summer internship(Google Summer of Code programs), developing features for the Synchronization module.

I also work part-time for Pivot Access where I do programming mostly(:read Monkey Coder). I communicate fluently in English, French and Mandarin . My hobbies are programming, playing volleyball, Sci-Fi(i.e. Fringe, Star-Trek, AVATAR, ...).
