Architectural Proposal List

Below is a table to contain the list of proposed architectural changes along with a description and who supports the change. Please review the changes and add your name to the Concerned Parties column if the change describes one that would be useful to you. If you have identified a new architectural change please create a new row.

XML Config to Annotations I feel we could probably benefit from moving away from XML metadata files; and move towards using annotations (Spring/JPA both support this). This is also to Java EE 5 Spec. XML files should be used only to override annotations. Robby O'Connor, Tom Hubschman
